First Impression

To be completely honest, I was a little taken back by the amount of work that would be in this class right from the start. It isn't a problem for me as long as I can have the week, typically, to accomplish any assignments before the next class. I work anywhere from 45-52 hours a week an a very normal basis and unfortunately with my job, there is no standard get off time. Which makes it even harder when I am working a 12 hour long or longer shift on a Saturday. I am in no way trying to justify or make an excuse for not completing an assignment on the weekend, it's just not feasible at time. I also have Sunday services and due to religious beliefs, I frown doing anything on a Sunday.
I have a lot of hopes for this class. I believe it will be a neat experience and I hope to take away information and/or learn programs I haven't used before and ones I feel will be conducive with my objectives here at CSN and later in life. Thank you for all the support and the constant aid when needed, I can see you truly do love doing what you do. Thank you.

  4. Lessons do seem to be very time consuming, and with most of us working jobs and involved in other activities it does become very difficult. Keep ya head up!

  5. I work the same schedule.I didn't get to go to the gym last weekend.I'm on the computer before work instead of watching sports center. And I just burnt the crap out of the bacon. We can do this we just have to take advantage of our opportunities. We can do this.

  6. I also work long hours at work and I came in not knowing that it was a lot of assignments in this class. However, I have been coming into the computer lab everyday after work and after class on Mondays and Wednesdays, which is my Netflix time (ha) to try to get some work done. We can do this!

  9. It is scary to think how much time we need and how much we actually have to work on all the outside classes. I am also giving up of my social life for now so I can keep up with all my 14 credits plus regular life. But I believe when we have a goal we can make all the effort we need to overcome obstacles and to accomplish the goal. We can do it!! ;)
